Our team at Perch Advisors LLC took a short break out of the city this week for a field trip to #whiteplains to visit and learn from our good friend Jennifer Furioli, MPA at the White Plains BID. Last night Community Board 13 in Coney Island heard more about the proposed #businessimprovementdistrict for #ConeyIsland. The BID will include both Surf AND Mermaid Avenues and provide a range of services and investment back into the commercial area. The #Steeringcommittee did an excellent job defining the “why” - it’s time for a BID in Coney. #letsmakeabid #community #neighborhood #smallbusiness
