Like many new Lieutenants I was tasked with planning a few of these functions. In the process, I learned that many venues were booking hundreds of thousands of dollars in private events on word documents, spreadsheets, and handwritten docs like it was 1999. There has never been a better time in human history to start a company. Don’t waste your opportunity to put a dent in the universe. 🪐 2. Listen to what your customer needs, which may not be exactly what they want. Always try to dig deeper to solve the underlying need. 👂 3. Startups are personal development journeys disguised as businesses. It's painful to constantly be challenged, but it is also really rewarding to grow through each new challenge once you're on the other side. 🌱
