    Loved being back at AMPS - Advanced Mining Production Systems this week along with the AMPS Academy team with what is always impressive energy and engagement. There is such an authenticity in taking the time to advance a shared AMPs philosophy and skill set to bring out the best in each other and their clients in every part of the business. Skills like maximising potential with a growth mindset, advanced EQ, critical conversations, coaching and mentoring and feedback, to name a few. Thank you to Brendan Parker, Lisa McCarthy, Tara Carnevale and team for another great step in the series.

    We are thrilled to have held our third Leading with Impact session on Coaching and Mentoring and Providing/Receiving Feedback this week. Thank you to Peta Slocombe from Performance Story for helping our teams learn practical strategies and powerful questions for coaching and developing others, and numerous ways to give feedback based on motivation, neuroscience and leadership principles. In today’s dynamic and competitive landscape, effective leadership is central to cultivating great teams and culture, delivering exceptional service, and achieving extraordinary results.     It's been a massive month for us at Performance Story, with the launch of YourStory, an individual subscription model to get specialist support and insights - with numbers climbing by the week. Additionally, we have also been excited to commence partnerships Ruah Legal Services and Mental Health Law Centre, Kimberly Community Legal Service, and Great Southern Community Legal Services in recent weeks. We could not be more proud to support the vision and purpose of your teams with next generation professional care and development.     Last week we loved being in-studio filming with the awesome team at AMPS Academy. The only thing better than doing work you are passionate about, is doing it with a team of people who share the same passion and whole new skill set and level of expertise. Performance Story and AMPS Academy are excited to have teamed up to launch our 'Leading with Impact' series comprised of 8 core leadership modules that everyone needs to have in their repertoire. Short, powerful, self paced content on topics such as Growth Mindset, Emotional Intelligence, Psychological Safety, Critical Conversations, Feedback, Conflict, and Advanced Psychological Mental Health and High Performance.     Delighted to talk to The West Australian today about our partnership with Integro Private Wealth - recognising the increasing links between financial wellbeing and mental health. Integro Private Wealth go above and beyond the call to meet their client's needs. Not only can financial uncertainty create stress for many of us, but there is no point working hard for good quality of life, if we don't have good mental health to enjoy it. Performance Story know that an increasing number of our clients cite financial stress as a significant part of their overall stress, impacting on sleep, relationships and feelings of anxiety and overwhelm. Our CEO, Peta Slocombe shared "A big part of helping clients from our perspective is knowing what the contributing factors are and meeting client's specific needs. Having a trusted referral partner is a big relief." Integro Private Wealth's reputation for excellence has led to a strong relationship between our teams, including increasing consultancy and mental health literacy with their Planners to give them a better chance to maximise quality of life and helping our team understand the options and supports available. If there are two tougher areas for many people to talk about, it would be mental health, and finances. Together, we are hoping to change that.

    Delighted to spend time with the impressive team at AMPS and AMPS Academy last week, delivering the modules below. The awesome part about AMPS is their committment to ensuring every team member has a core set of skills and knowledge about value adding to their own environment, but equally to those of their clients. Consultants all trained in EQ, psych safety, growth mindset, critical conversations, and high performance teams among others, are consultants if want to work with and for on site. Hats off Brendan Parker, Lisa McCarthy and all for such a special partnership.

    We are thrilled to have held our Leading with Impact workshops on Psychological Safety and Critical Conversations last week. Thank you to Peta Slocombe from Performance Story for helping our teams reframe and make workplace conversations feel less challenging. We learned the value of engaging in critical conversations and developed important know-how to de-escalate negativity and defensiveness to enable a culture of trust, collaboration and innovation.   In today’s dynamic and competitive landscape, effective leadership is central to cultivating great teams and culture, delivering exceptional service, and achieving extraordinary results.     At Performance Story, we recognise that words like "agile" are thrown around a lot. The simple truth is that life always has and always will, throw us curve balls. Small or big. Work or personal. If it was ever helpful to hang onto the same action, assumptions or expectations in the face of new circumstances (it wasn't!) it's certainly not now. We work with clients at the top of their game, and clients who sometimes find it hard to get through the day. But they've all got one thing in common - the choice about what comes next. A complaint call from your biggest customer might be the first arrow. Do you head home and get cranky with the kids and shoot a terse email to the team (more arrows) , or do you focus on "what's the best possible move from here?". It's like the old cliche.... You see a red card and you get a smack, and you see another red card and you get a smack, and you see another red card... Or do you see a red card, get a smack. See a red card, duck. In a world where it can sometimes seen Uncertainty is a constant companion, we know not all first arrows can be dodged. Let's get focused on adapting before the second.

    Massive week Performance Story, backing up a panel for #IWD at Crown, with the some powerful time with the inspirational leadership team at Minderoo Foundation, and finishing yesterday with a keynote at the Rural Health Conference sponsored by Rural Health West. GPs, nurses and practitioners in regional WA are as remarkable as they are humble. It's a load that never abates with resources that are never enough. Our reflections? 1. The tide is turning. Leaders know that what got us here, won't be what gets us to the next level and there is a hunger to think differently about both human performance and wellbeing. 2. For all the distress in the headlines, there are awe-inspiring humans showing up and rising to the challenge. The future is in remarkable hands. 3. Our team genuinely have the best job on the planet.
