Happy 129th Gilster-Mary Lee Corp.! We're proud to have you in Perry County!
August is always a pretty special month for us - Gilster-Mary Lee's birthday month! This year we celebrate 129 years of making peoples' lives better by providing them high quality, high value food products that they enjoy. We celebrate 129 years of great relationships and friendships with our customers, our suppliers, and the communities where we do business. Most of all, we celebrate ALL the employees that have been a part of the story - - from the German immigrants who began milling soft wheat flour in 1895, - to the former shoe factory employees who decided to take a chance on the new cake mix company that moved in to the factory they used to work in, - to the men and women who delivered our products on 18 wheel "Biscuit Wagons" across the US and Canada, - to the employees who became a valued part of our team through our Autism Workforce program. Happy Birthday Gilster-Mary Lee!

Have you even wanted to locate your business in downtown Perryville but didn't know which building you wanted to buy (or more likely, couldn't find a building to buy)? Now is your chance. With the new Justice Center nearing the end of construction, the Board of Aldermen is considering proposals for the our current police Department. The 7,248 sq. ft. office building is located at 120 North Jackson Street, Perryville, MO. The Property can be generally described as a .72+/- acre parcel in Perryville’s vibrant downtown. The building is a one story brick veneer building with a partial basement and was built in 2009. A new standing seam metal roof was installed in 2016. The partial basement contains an additional approximately 4,368 sq. ft. The site includes a concrete parking lot with 25 parking spaces, a drive-through garage, lobby, breakroom, 12 offices (or more), locker rooms, and a training room capable of comfortably holding 30+ people. Additionally, the property is located in Perryville’s Downtown TIF District and right next door to Mary Janes. The Police Department is slated to move to the newly-built Justice Center in January 2025, making the current property available for development. Please reach out with any questions you might have. There will not be another opportunity like this any time soon.
