The Petri team, Shu Li and Joseph Schinaman, recently had the opportunity to participate in the HCU Network America conference in Aurora, Colorado. This event provided us with an invaluable opportunity to meet, in person, the families we've been communicating with through email over the years. It was truly remarkable to transform these virtual connections into real-world interactions. We also had the pleasure of conducting the "Science is Fun" mini-workshop for children at the conference. Their enthusiasm and curiosity were incredibly inspiring! Engaging with the community we serve allowed us to gain deeper insights into their unmet needs and gather invaluable feedback firsthand. A huge thank you to the conference organizers, HCU Network America, Danae' Bartke, Margie McGlynn, Liz Carter, Brittany Parke, and many others. Thank you for creating such a fantastic platform for researchers, drug developers, and patients to engage and communicate. Your hard work and dedication made this event a resounding success.
