Reshare: "📣 An Important Announcement 📣 With heavy hearts, we’re sharing the news that after 10 impactful years, Telling Queer History (TQH) will close in June 2025. This decision wasn’t made lightly, but after deep reflection, the board and founder Rebecca J. Lawrence came to the conclusion that challenges in funding, burnout, and resourcing made it difficult to continue. 🙏 We are beyond grateful for every person who has supported TQH – from board members and volunteers to community partners and funders. Your support has made this journey possible. 💖 As TQH prepares for their next steps, they ask for your continued support to ensure a meaningful close to their final year. 💸 They still need to raise $25,000 to sustain their activities, including a traveling exhibition to share the legacy of TQH across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. 🎨🚐 🗓️ Join TQH on October 19 for a Community Conversation to process this news together, ask questions, and share thoughts. 💬 Find the link to register in our bio! 🌈 Let’s walk this final journey together and celebrate the legacy of TQH. #TellingQueerHistory #CommunitySupport #TQHLegacy #QueerStories #PFundFoundation #LGBTQHistory #Gratitude #LegacyContinues #TogetherWeRise"
