Augusta, Georgia natives Luke List and Henrik Norlander are playing for a bigger cause this week. Hurricane Helene brought 100-plus mph winds and torrential flooding to the Southeast, with rivers overflowing their banks and devastating Western North Carolina, especially. In Augusta, Georgia, some 225,000 people were without power, according to The Augusta Chronicle, after Helene barreled through Friday morning. List, the defending champion at this week’s Sanderson Farms Championship, and Norlander will each donate $500 per birdie this week to the American Red Cross as their hometown recovers from Hurricane Helene.

As the PGA TOUR continues to grow and develop its new competitive format, the 2024 season featured the return of a calendar-year schedule and a revamped format for the limited field Signature Events. The Aon Next 10 and Aon Swing 5 gave up to 15 players the opportunity to go head-to-head against the PGA TOUR’s best, and a handful of players took advantage of and greatly benefitted from the new system. https://lnkd.in/ewizY4NU
