We are thrilled to announce the official opening of the new Agricultural Hall on Oklahoma State University’s campus! 🎉 On Saturday, we had the honor of attending the Building Dedication, which featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tailgate celebration. In partnership with Studio Architecture P.C., we designed this cutting-edge facility to inspire and support the future of agriculture. It has already become a daily hub of activity for students and faculty. The building offers state-of-the-art spaces that enhance learning, collaboration, and innovation—perfect for shaping the next generation of agricultural leaders. A huge thank you to the entire Oklahoma State Ferguson College of Agriculture community and everyone who played a part in bringing this project to life. We couldn’t be prouder to see this vibrant space buzzing with activity! 🚜🌾

Creating Next Generation Environments which advance our clients' missions in a rapidly changing world.
About us
Since 1965, PGAV has built a reputation for providing innovative design solutions for prominent corporations, colleges, universities, theme parks, zoos, museums and governments. Now in our fifth decade, our design professionals are creating innovative solutions that continue to receive regional, national and international acclaim. For nearly 60 years, PGAV has committed to fulfilling our clients' visions through creative and technical innovation. We have developed a studio environment where traditional disciplines of master planning, architecture, exhibit design, interior design, graphics, theming, landscape architecture and industrial design are merged to create powerfully experiential environments. We are an enterprise founded on client service, and fueled by the challenge of turning life’s great experiences into successful environments. In our many years of design and service work, we have learned how to draw from our successes and plan for the future by treating each client as an individual and not a project type. We approach each design challenge with the purpose of creating a solution that embodies the client’s needs, style and workflow, while ultimately reflecting their unique philosophy and identity in the character of the finished space.

PGAV is proud to have had the opportunity to share our JCCC Science Lab Modernization project with the Heart of America Chapter of I2SL today. PGAV Principal, Mike Schaadt, along side JCCC Mathematics & Science Dean, Mary Wisgirda, presented on the project followed by a tour of the modernized space. In 2021, the college engaged PGAV Architects and a multidisciplinary engineering team to help them reimagine and refresh its labs to meet contemporary teaching needs and support the more than 8,000 students enrolled in its math and science programs. The labs are located on multiple floors in three buildings on campus. Disciplines include Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental, Geoscience, Physics, and Physical Science. The labs were enlarged to meet national standards for NSF/Student, new mobile lab casework configurations, and instructional technology to support team-based learning, and accessible design features for ADA compliance. New flex research labs for Life Sciences and Physical Sciences support the college’s faculty-guided undergraduate research program.

Today marks a significant milestone as PGAV Architects proudly celebrates the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Olathe Police Headquarters! Since 2020, our dedicated team has collaborated closely with the City of Olathe and Olathe Police to bring this vision to life – a vision deeply rooted in the heart of the community. The building was designed to support the mission of Olathe Police; it embodies the community’s values and stands as a testament to its commitment to public safety and those who serve on its Police Force. We extend our gratitude to the City of Olathe for placing their trust in us for this important project. The City’s partnership has been instrumental in creating a space that not only serves the needs of the police force but also fosters a sense of unity and pride within the community. As we celebrate this momentous occasion, we look forward to witnessing the positive impact this facility will have on enhancing the quality of life for all residents of Olathe.

PGAV Architects reposted this
Say hello to the revamped science labs at Johnson County Community College! 🔬 From biology to chemistry, physics to geology, astronomy, and more, the updated and modernized laboratories and teaching facilities better meet the needs of students while providing flexibility for the future. More than 22 labs were renovated including BSL-2 facilities in microbiology, biotechnology, and prep and research areas. Splitting the project into 5 phases, the team built 7 temporary labs to keep classes going strong throughout construction, ultimately eliminating 12 months off the construction schedule. Yesterday, PGAV had the privilege of being a host firm for the AIA Women in Design Day of Shadowing event! We opened our doors to high school aged students so they could learn about what it is like to work in different design fields. Throughout the day, we offered a glimpse into the exciting opportunities a profession in design holds. We shared insights into our firm's projects and toured them through our studio space. A highlight of the day was our engaging panel discussion featuring four women from our team. They shared their personal journeys, insights, and addressed thought-provoking questions from the students. Additionally, we indulged in a hands-on activity where the students got creative by designing their own layout for a design firm. Seeing their innovative ideas and enthusiasm was inspiring. We believe in the power of mentorship and events like these make us excited for the future of the architectural community. A heartfelt thank you to all the students who joined us, AIA Kansas City for this fantastic opportunity, and our incredible team whose passion and dedication made this event a resounding success! Special shoutouts to our panelists: Andrea Brundis, Kelly Batcheller-Mummey, Emily Ekdahl, and Kelly Winkel; to those who helped organize the event: Jennifer Goeke, Carol Martin Tracy, Stasha N. Prewitt-Thomas, Amber Koch, and Kaylee Cart; as well as to everyone at PGAV who made these young ladies feel welcomed.
