In celebration of the PACT Act’s two-year anniversary, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has released a new dashboard highlighting updated statistics from the historic law.      To date, the department has delivered more than $6.8 billion in PACT Act benefits to veterans and their survivors — on pace to break last year’s record of claims processed by more than 27%.   PGBA specializes in helping federal agencies meet the growing demand of today’s military and veteran care services. PGBA recently attended the United Way of Florence County 's annual Awards and Allocation Luncheon on June 18, 2024. Through the generosity of our staff, PGBA and BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina were able to reach the Platinum Level Sponsorship - raising over $70,000 to support United Way's key focus areas of education, mental health and home rehabilitation for the Florence community. In addition to being one of the top donors, PGBA and Blue Cross Blue Shield were also presented with the Partnership Award for sponsoring numerous United Way initiatives such as their Learning Management System, which delivers the organization's unified message to all employees working remotely or in-person.

The Military Health System is prioritizing data standardization to bolster the agency’s interoperability and healthcare delivery services. Speaking at this year’s HIMSS Global Conference & Exhibition, Jesus Caban, MHS’ chief data scientist for Enterprise Intelligence and Data Solutions, shared how MHS is adopting a Common Data Model to provide standardized data across hundreds of disparate medical, dental and readiness systems to accurately and efficiently treat patients.
