    Healthcare Leadership, Technology and Services

I am beyond excited to share that I have accepted the role of CEO at Phigenics. As many of you know I practiced Emergency Medicine for more than 20 years, and I was fortunate enough to train with and work with the very best. The failure of prevention becomes acutely visible in the emergency room, where the impact on patients and their families is immediate and profound. I fell in love with patient safety when I was leading Verge Health, where I saw dedicated patient safety and compliance teams building organizations that keep people safe when they are at their most vulnerable. Phigenics is a natural extension of that work. Phigenics has earned its place as a leader in advancing patient safety and disease prevention through excellence in water management. They have been tasked with ensuring patients and staff are safer from serious water-borne illnesses by some of the very best provider systems in healthcare, including Novant, Cone Health, BayCare, and many others. The team is amazingly talented, with some of the leading innovators in the space reliably executing for healthcare systems and bringing the value of lessons learned from serving many industries into the health system environment. Joining Phigenics is a unique opportunity to make a difference on a broader scale. The company's commitment to delivering innovative water management solutions aligns uniquely with my dedication to improving health outcomes and keeping patients and providers safe. Water quality is a critical component of patient safety for multiple reasons. Phigenics' work in this area is essential for protecting vulnerable populations and ensuring the highest standards of care. Another area Phigenics serves is in manufacturing and sterilization of healthcare instrumentation, where eradicating contamination is critical. I am inspired by the exceptional people at Phigenics and the fantastic customers they serve. Together, we will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in water management, striving for excellence in every aspect. Our mission is clear: to advance patient safety and disease prevention, creating safer environments for all. I want to thank the great people at Mirada Medical who have made the last few years a pleasure, notably the CEO, Jon DeVries. I will remain a board advisor there; they do great work in cancer care. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. This is more than just a professional step forward; it's a chance to contribute to a cause I deeply believe in. Here's to new beginnings and the exciting journey that awaits!
