P&J has been in the construction business for over 70 years, and we know that the job site can be isolating. Many workers spend long hours on the site, often many hours away from home and family. We want everyone to feel like they belong at P&J, which is why we foster a workforce that values excellent communication and consistently puts People First in every aspect.

As we secure disaster areas and build, maintain, and modernize critical infrastructure throughout the United States, P&J has always put “People First.” Our business relies on our bonds with each other, and we are proud of our workforce’s legacy of relationship building. We all have a reason to come to work, and as a family company, P&J believes in taking care of what's important.

Restoring power in the Appalachians is a priority, and P&J's high voltage crews have been on the ground performing critical re-electrification services for more than a week. While the devastation left by Hurricane Helene will take time to fully repair, we're prepared to do the work to rebuild our communities more resiliently than before. #HurricaneHelene #HeleneRelief #PhillipsAndJordan #HurricaneRecovery #CommunityResilience

Phillips & Jordan, Inc. reposted this
This past weekend, I spent time in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties to check in on our P&J Florida team and see firsthand the incredible work our debris teams are doing. In addition to Phillips & Jordan, Inc. playing a significant role in the clean-up efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we have over 800 team members who live in Florida, many of them in these impacted communities, including Pasco County, where our Florida office is located. Our team members have faced damage to their own homes and those of their families, yet they’ve been out in the field since the early hours after Helene passed, working tirelessly on the initial response and clean-up. P&J has been responding to disasters for over four decades across the U.S., and I cannot thank our team enough for their unwavering dedication and hard work. Having personally been involved in complex debris operations, including Hurricanes Andrew and Katrina and the 9/11 tragedy, I know how challenging these situations can be. As a former USF student in the early '80s, this region is close to my heart. Although P&J is headquartered in Tennessee, we perform more work in Florida than in other states. Our team members, friends, and business partners live in these communities, making this recovery effort especially important to all of us at P&J. Meeting residents who have just lost everything is always a humbling experience. Seeing their belongings piled up in front of their homes is a stark reminder of the critical role we play in these communities. Our P&J teams and subcontractor partners are becoming more efficient daily, adding resources where needed. We will continue working, not just in Florida, but also in the other counties and states where our team has been deployed, until the clean-up is fully complete.

P&J's debris removal crews are going strong in Florida as we continue to assess the damage from Hurricane Milton. We're clearing the most critical roadways now to get these communities back to normal as quickly as possible, and we'll be working hard in the weeks to come to complete the mission. #HurricaneMilton #PhillipsAndJordan #FloridaStrong #HurricaneRecovery

P&J is closing out our second week of work in North Carolina, helping to re-electrify the power grid after Hurricane Helene's devastating impact. Our crews will continue to reconnect communities in Western NC. We are committed to helping rebuild this resilient region. #HeleneRecovery #RebuildNC #PowerRestoration #CommunityStrong
