PROJECT:   Washington University Olin School of Business; St. Louis, MO  PRODUCT / SERVICE:  Design, Engineer & Supply of Glass Balustrade System Phoenix AG+M recently completed the renovation / modernization of the atrium glass balustrade system at the Washington University, Olin School of Business.  Originally furnished as 5/8" monolithic standard clear glass, our scope of work included the re-engineering and supply of 13/16" tempered, low-iron Sentryglas lami (138 lites of bent glass w/ 22 unique radii); and brilliantly finished passivated 316L stainless steel fittings & handrail components. This gathering space is accessed by students and faculty for presentations, as a study hall and for socializing.  Courtesy of a massive skylight, natural light complements the low-iron glass; fostering an open & transparent environment. PROJECT:   The Connector @ Winthrop Center / Boston, MA PRODUCT / SERVICE:  Supply of Fabricated Glass "The Connector" at Winthrop Center (Boston, MA) is one of the most anticipated and acclaimed new construction projects in Boston.  This multistory landmark joins the Post Office Square Neighborhood with the Theatre District; and is a culinary, performing arts and entertainment destination. The Connector is designed to maximize comfort and transparency.  Utilizing low-iron, laminated glass, Phoenix AG+M fabricated all of the interior glass including; jumbos (floor to ceiling glass) for the meeting rooms, point supported glass for the elevator enclosure, and all balustrade staircase & mezzanine glass. PROJECT:   Kissel Uptown Oakland / Oakland, CA PRODUCT / SERVICE:  Design, Engineer & Supply of Point Supported Glass Fin Feature This Beaux-Arts building was originally constructed in 1910 and was a showroom for the Kissel Motor Car Company.  Recently renovated, this building is now part of Hyatt Hotel's, Unbound Collection. Our scope of work was design, engineer and supply of the glass fin, art feature.  Each lite of glass is digitally printed with a transitional color and graphic; and is supported by custom 316L stainless steel plate fittings. PROJECT:   300 South Broadway / Ballpark Heights, St. Louis, MO PRODUCT / SERVICE:  Design, Engineer and Supply of Custom Guardrail System. PROJECT :   The Hall of Lights, Carrollton, TX. PRODUCT / SERVICE:  Manufacture & delivery of JUMBO / OVER-SIZED IGUs & Laminated Glass. Phoenix Architectural Glass manufactures jumbo / over-sized glass of the highest quality.  The Hall of Lights is a great example of our Jumbo/Over-Sized glass processing capability. On this project our maximum glass size was 125 x 235 1/2” (204 sq. ft. on 1 lite of glass)! We furnished a total of 70 jumbos, in both laminated and IGU formats. When supplying JUMBO / OVER-SIZED GLASS our mission & responsibility extends far beyond processing the highest-quality & most optically clear glass.
