We are excited and extremely proud - the jury has selected Halton TTAP (Terminal Treatment of Air with Peltier) as one of the eight solutions for the FinnBuild Highlights competition! 🎉 FinnBuild, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, will present the selected solutions at the Messukeskus, Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 8–10 October. In the competition, the public's favorite will be chosen by public voting during the event. The eight products that has been selected, point the way toward a more responsible and sustainable construction and building technology sector. 💡 Terminal Treatment of Air with Peltier (TTAP) invented by Halton and Phononic Inc builds on the Peltier effect and electric cooling. Phononic welcomes experienced datacenter executive Darrin Jones to the board! "I am excited to join Phononic," says Jones, "as they develop data center hardware solid state cooling technologies needed to power next generation AI based workloads." Darrin Jones brings over 25 years of data center business development, sales, and strategic planning experience. He led Microsoft’s Azure hardware architecture business development and program management activities, which included collaborations with AMD, Google, Meta, and startups to engineer new platforms. “We are excited to welcome Darrin to the board of Phononic. Darrin brings a deep expertise in the data center industry, and understands better than anyone the intrinsic growth opportunities in this AI revolution, as well as the mission critical need for sustainable power and cooling solutions," says Phononic CEO, Tony Atti. Darrin earned a BS in business administration from California Polytechnic State University. He began his technology career in Intel’s silicon product teams in roles including product development, sales, equity investments, and acquisitions. He earned his CPA while at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he provided consulting services.
