At Pitch In For Baseball & Softball, we love hearing how our equipment donations make a lasting impact in communities! 🌟 One heartwarming story comes from the Wesconnett Wildcats in Jacksonville. Formed just three years ago, this team is thriving thanks to generous donations that make baseball accessible for low-income families. ⚾️ This year marked a significant milestone as they acquired catcher's equipment, allowing passionate player Chance to step into the catcher’s role for the first time. The joy on his face when he saw the new gear was priceless—a true testament to how our support transforms dreams into reality! 🙌 By providing essential equipment, we’re not just enabling kids to play baseball; we’re fostering belonging, teamwork, and excitement. The Wesconnett Wildcats are building skills and creating memories they will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for joining us in making a difference—one donation at a time! 💙 #PitchInForBaseball&Softball #CommunityImpact #YouthSports #MakingADifference #Teamwork

CEO, Pitch In For Baseball & Softball. Committed to changing kids’ lives through baseball and softball by eliminating equipment as a barrier to play.
I am excited to introduce Jessica Koshinski as the newest member of Pitch In For Baseball & Softball's Board of Directors. We first got to know Jessica when she dropped off an equipment donation a few years ago. Jessica is the Assistant Coach for Haverford College's softball program while simultaneously completing med school so that she can help athletes through orthopedic surgery and human performance medicine. Jessica is an inspiration, has an amazing spirit and energy, and clearly loves the game as much as we do. Pitch In For Baseball & Softball was created in 2005, right after Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast. In our first year, PIFBS helped rebuild dozens of leagues in Louisiana and Texas. Seeing the impact of the game on children and its ability to restore normalcy during times of chaos, PIFBS has been committed to helping communities rebuild following a natural disaster since. Over the years, we have helped kids and families in more than 20 communities get back on the field. You may have seen the impact of the Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We are already seeing requests for support and are anticipating more in the coming months as communities prepare for spring 2025. Through our Disaster Relief Fund, PIFBS provides essential baseball and softball equipment to kids and teams affected by natural disasters. These donations help rebuild not just teams, but also the spirit of entire communities. Want to make an impact? From Humble Beginnings to Empowered Futures: How a Simple Glove Transformed Dayton High School Softball! 🌟 In sports, even the smallest gestures can spark change. The Dayton High School softball team in KY received an equipment grant in 2023 that empowered young athletes! Among them was Izzy, an 8th grader who had never played softball before. She showed up to practice without a glove, but the coach, Beth, provided her with one, representing opportunity and belonging. Izzy's confidence skyrocketed as she became an active participant on and off the field, raised her hand in class, and made new friends. The equipment grant not only boosted her skills but fostered teamwork and community spirit. Let’s celebrate the impact of generous donors who help shape futures! If Izzy’s journey inspires you, consider joining the cause to support initiatives that give kids a chance to play ball! ⚾❤️ #Softball #Empowerment #CommunitySupport
