27% of hiring teams are recording their interviews. Does that number surprise you? Even though just a quarter of hiring teams are recording their interviews, we expect this trend to double, if not more, within the next 6-12 months. In his blog this month, our CEO, Mark Simpson, explores the benefits of recording interviews for your hiring process and addresses common concerns from hiring and legal teams about managing recording-related anxieties. Check it out at the link in the comments.

We're always thrilled to roll out new platform updates for our Pillar customers, but this one has us especially excited! For the first time ever, hiring teams now have a solution that surfaces all the critical data needed to build exceptional teams. We won’t say much more other than to check out the video below to see what we mean!

When asked to rank their top priorities for TA investment in 2024, companies consistently ranked interviewing as number one, according to a recent Aptitude Research report. Despite the critical importance of interviewing, many companies face significant challenges that impact its success. During our November webinar, we're looking forward to sitting down with Christina D'Angela Beans, MS-IO, Mervyn Dinnen, and Joe Keenan who will share actionable insights for turning interviews into a strategic advantage in your hiring process. What does the future of DEI in hiring look like? During our October webinar last week, Kalifa Oliver, Ph.D. kicked off this topic by highlighting that the future of DEI is centered on the employee experience. DEI will be integrated into systems, not treated as a separate initiative. Watch the video clip for more of her thoughts on this, and if interested, you can find the full 1-hour webinar at https://lnkd.in/gw82zb99. #DEI #HRWebinar #CorporateDEI

Yesterday, we hosted our October webinar and were joined by an expert panel of leaders driving change in corporate DEI to answer the burning question of "what will corporate DEI look like in 2025?". Fran Benjamin, John Graham Jr., & Kalifa Oliver, Ph.D. shared so many great insights, but here are a few of our takeaways: 🟣 DEI is here to stay. While we may call it something different to avoid upsetting those uncomfortable with the term “DEI,” this shift disregards the impact on those who are already harmed by the lack of it. 🟣 When it comes to the role of leadership in driving sustainable change, it’s not about leadership capability, but about willingness. Leaders need to prioritize humanity over profit in their decisions. True change happens when leaders are willing to share and relinquish power. 🟣 The future of DEI is centered on the employee experience, which is about setting people up for success. When companies prioritize employee experience, DEI naturally becomes embedded in everything they do. In the future, DEI will be integrated into systems, not treated as a separate initiative. 🟣 If you're exploring technology platforms that influence the human experience, it's essential to incorporate human interaction to prevent bias from entering the system. This just scratches the surface on all the great nuggets shared throughout the session. Huge thanks to Fran, John, and Kalifa for joining us! If you missed today's panel discussion, "𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘿𝙀𝙄 𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙇𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙄𝙣 2025?" hosted by Pillar , you missed a great, action-focused discussion about the reality of current and future DEI efforts. During the discussion, industry disruptors & thought-leaders, John Graham Jr., Kalifa Oliver, Ph.D., and Fran Benjamin shared transformative insights on the evolution and future of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Here are the key takeaways that demand our attention: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - DEI has progressed from affirmative action to modern practices, but progress remains cyclical. - Risk aversion and legal concerns have led some organizations to rebrand or deprioritize DEI, despite data proving its continued necessity and value. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 - True change requires leaders to relinquish power and amplify marginalized voices. - We must move beyond allyship to abolition, addressing root causes and dismantling exploitative systems. - Leaders must prioritize humanity over the bottom line in decision-making. 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗘𝗜 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗡𝗔 - DEI should be intrinsic to an organization, not a separate initiative. - Focus on employee experience design to make DEI implicit in all processes. - Leverage data and technology to measure incremental progress, not just outcomes. 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 - Real allies contribute, not just ask to be educated. - Allies must take risks, share platforms, and actively work to dismantle oppressive systems. - Centering the humanity of all employees is crucial for fostering inclusive, equitable workplaces. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿: 𝗪𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. #DEI #Leadership #OrganizationalCulture #Equity #Inclusion #P3HCS
