As we prepare for our second annual Advocacy Day, here is a reminder of what PMHC does. For those of you who are new here, please enjoy this video put together by our friends and advocates at Long Haul Films. #safetynotstigma #pilotmentalhealth
About us
The Pilot Mental Health Campaign (PMHC) is dedicated to advocating for modernized mental health policies in the aviation industry. Our mission is to build a future where pilots are empowered to seek the mental health treatment they need without the fear of career repercussions, thereby making skies safer for everyone.

The New York Times published a feature today that addressed aviation mental health! The reporter speaks to PMHC’s own Brian Bomhoff, Elizabeth Carll, Dr. Brent Blue, and Joseph LoRusso. The more people who become aware of the problems within the system, the more pressure the FAA will feel to update its archaic approach to mental health. #dontmakeuschoose #aeromedicalreform #NYT #pilotsarepeopletoo https://lnkd.in/g2i5EmUv

Advocacy Day 2025 is less than 3 weeks away! You still have time to join us, but time is running out. March 19 is the last day to RSVP. PMHC is very excited about this year’s event, as our 1st annual benefit dinner is sure to energize everyone for a full day of advocating the following day. You’ll hear from YouTuber Xyla Foxlin and Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL) as well as PMHC leaders all while meeting fellow aeromedical reform enthusiasts! Then, on April 2, we will take to congressional offices for meetings to share our stories and why FAA aeromedical reform is not only important personally, but for the aviation industry at large.

March is Women's History Month and while we honor the women who have led the way, we pause to acknowledge the women of today being left behind by an outdated aeromedical system. #aeromedicalreform #pilotmentalhealth #pilotsarepeopletoo
