Throughout their internships with our Acquisitions, Asset Management, Accounting, Capital Markets, and Property Operations groups, they gained valuable insights into the complexities of retail real estate and essential skills that will propel their future careers. 🎨 Glendale Marketplace's marketing team recently hosted its second annual Chalk-A-Doodle Festival at the shopping center located in Glendale, CA. In partnership with two local community art organizations, this free family-friendly summer event featured live viewings of chalk artists creating murals throughout the shopping center, art exhibitions, live music, and store promotions from the center's retailers – drawing well over 500 visitors and generating thousands of social media impressions. Skilled local artists created colorful sidewalk murals while artist workshops provided interactive experiences for visitors, driving foot traffic and benefiting the retailers of Glendale Marketplace. Over 500 people attended our recent summer kickoff community event at Delta Shores in Sacramento, California – featuring music, live entertainment, and family-friendly games and activities, with participation from community organizations and shopping center retailers alike. Delta Shores benefits from Pine Tree's consumer marketing program that helps promote tenants within their communities, increase local visibility for our retailers, and drive foot traffic.

🎉 On behalf of a state pension fund client, Pine Tree has facilitated the acquisition of Pavilion of Turkey Creek in Knoxville, TN, for $56 million. The 98% leased shopping center includes essential retailers Target, Walmart, Ross Dress for Less, Petsmart, Hobby Lobby, Five Below, Old Navy, and DSW, among others. Pine Tree had been engaged by the seller, Nuveen, to operate the high-performing asset since 4Q2020. “Pavilion at Turkey Creek has performed extremely well during Pine Tree’s oversight period,” said Matt Lougee, President, Capital Markets, for Pine Tree. “We also recognized that it would be a great fit for our client and were excited to be able to facilitate this transaction on an off-market basis.” Congrats to everyone involved! #acquisition #cre #retail
