🌟 At Pine Cone Pediatric Therapies, we are proud to practice Assent-Based care! 🌟 We believe that every child deserves to be an active participant in their therapeutic journey. Assent-Based care ensures that children are respected, their voices are heard, and they are empowered to engage in therapy at their own pace. By prioritizing each child's comfort and preferences, we build stronger connections, promote meaningful progress, and create an environment where children feel safe and understood. At Pine Cone Therapies, we are dedicated to fostering a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic space, where every step in your child's therapy journey is taken with care and consent. Together, we promote independence, embrace neurodiversity, and foster positive change through consent and collaboration.

Our kiddos - and staff - had a blast creating beautiful watercolor-style paintings using a fun and simple technique: drawing with markers on tin foil, spraying it with water, and then pressing a coloring sheet on top. 🌟 This activity was not only super fun, but also helped our kids explore colors, textures, and their creativity. We love finding new ways to inspire imagination and have fun together! 💙 #PineConeTherapies #CreativeTherapy #WatercolorFun #ChildDevelopment #ArtInTherapy #FunActivities

This week, creativity took center stage at our Keller center with a Doodle Day! The kids had a blast expressing themselves through art, whether it was decorating t-shirts with their unique designs or enjoying the sunshine while creating chalk masterpieces on the sidewalk. 🌈👕🖍️ Doodle Day wasn’t just about having fun (though there was plenty of that!)—it’s also a great way to encourage self-expression, build fine motor skills, and boost confidence in a playful, relaxed setting. Our team loved seeing the creativity flow, and the smiles were just as bright as the chalk art! We can’t wait for more days filled with fun, learning, and creativity! 💫

This week, our team treated the kiddos to a fun-filled afternoon with a picnic lunch and a movie! 🧺🍕 These events are more than just fun—they help foster social skills, encourage group participation, and create lasting memories for the children we support. We love seeing smiles and laughter as the kids enjoy these special moments! A big thank you to our team for making this day extra special for everyone. Can’t wait for the next one!

At Pine Cone Therapies, our commitment to assent-based, trauma-informed, and neuroaffirming care means that every child’s voice and autonomy guide our approach. Together with the teams across Gracent, we recently spent time discussing how to implement these principles across all therapies, from ABA to Speech and OT. It’s through collaboration, training, and listening to the experts within our organization that we continue to grow and evolve the care we provide. We’re proud to lead the way in creating a space where children feel heard and respected. #AssentBasedCare #NeuroaffirmingCare #PediatricTherapy #ChildAutonomy #Collaboration #PineConeTherapies
Assent-based care is not just a trend—it’s how we approach therapy for kids with developmental needs. Across ABA, Speech, OT, PT, and Mental Health, we are challenging the old models and placing the child’s voice and autonomy at the center of everything we do. In our recent all-team call, we dedicated time to discussing, training, and hearing from the experts within our organization. It was a powerful opportunity to dive deeper into what it means to respect a child's boundaries, be flexible, and create goals that are meaningful to their lives. At Gracent, this is how we grow: through collaboration, reflection, and a commitment to lead the charge in evolving care for children. When we come together to share our insights, we’re creating a space where this magic happens—and it shows in the care we provide every day. How are you making sure the children in your care have a voice? Let’s discuss! #AssentBasedCare #PediatricTherapy #ChildAutonomy #Teamwork #GracentCares #CollaborativeCare #LeadershipInTherapy

Our Southlake center hosted an unforgettable Parents' Night Out! 🍕🎉 The kids had a blast with pizza and a show, games, potato sack races, volleyball, tie-dyed t-shirts, a dance party, and an epic glow room where they painted with glow paint! This is what we love about working here—creating special moments where our kids can interact, find joy, and just be themselves. Seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter reminds us why we do what we do, and we know the kids will be talking about this for a long time. We can't wait to do it all again soon! Well done, team! 👏👏👏
