Yesterday our team, and attendees, had the honor of meeting Cliff Weitzman, the founder of Speechify, in our Santa Clara Design Center. Once a dyslexic student, Cliff used AI to turn his personal challenges into a transformative technology that is changing how millions interact with language. A text-to-speech tool that transforms written text into audio, Speechify serves supports a range of document formats, converting them into natural-sounding spoken words. This makes it useful for enhancing accessibility, supporting individuals with reading difficulties, and enabling users to listen to content while multitasking. Participants had the opportunity to network and hear Cliff talk about his personal journey with dyslexia and how AI enhanced his ability to read and learn, while learning more about the spaces in the Santa Clara location intended to serve the neurodiverse. Special thanks to the Wharton Alumnae Founders & Funders Association for co-hosting this event.
