Super excited that this duplex, designed by Plant Design Studio, is getting installed this Tuesday! Our fifth home in Venice, CA. The 2,000 sf building is comprised of six Plant Modules and twenty-four Plant Panels. It was built at our automated factory in Tejon Ranch, which is the only in the US purpose built to construct both modules and panels.

Thank you for your support, ATEL Ventures, Inc.!
Are prefabs the answer to the housing shortage? A combination of economic and demographic factors have led to an enormous gulf between demand for housing and available stock. Developers just cannot build fast enough. Plant Prefab is one company that believes off-site construction--prefab--is at least part of the solution. We are proud to support this business as it works to help solve the housing crisis, and it is exciting to see its Santa Monica development nearing completion. https://lnkd.in/gtCTSBM7

Very honored to be working with Cloud Apartments and excited to build their first project this year!
Plant Prefab, one of Cloud’s many pre-certified factory partners, has completed the installation via MODSET of their first 100% affordable housing development, a 13-unit infill project for the Community Corporation of Santa Monica. By fabricating and finishing the living units offsite, project general contractors Howard CDM estimate six months’ time savings compared to site-built. Cloud’s VP of Construction Matthew Rapa and COO Apoorva Pasricha attended the install along with Cloud partners MARVULLI, INC (Tim Williams), JPark Architecture (Jay Park, AIA, NCARB), and client Genesis Commercial Capital to take notes for our own infill projects later this year. Please join us in congratulating Steve Glenn and the Plant Prefab team on this milestone, and follow us to see how Cloud’s innovative connection technology will provide even greater time and cost savings on Cloud Apartments multifamily developments.
