Congratulations to this fantastic group of new Plastics Family Americas General Managers for the strides they have made throughout this week's New General Manager training program! They will leave Charlotte tomorrow with a refined understanding of leadership and new tools to build on their team's successes, driving them toward great achievements. Today, leaders from Plastics Family Americas and VINK HOLDINGS LIMITED joined virtually for the final endeavor of the 2024 International Work Exchange Program, to watch Laurens Backx, Account Manager at Vink BV (België-Belgique), and Delano Timessen, Online Marketeer at Vink Kunststoffen BV, deliver a final presentation on their experience in the United States. Plastics Family Americas is proud to have THREE employees representing our brand network in the Master of Industrial Distribution, Texas A&M University program! Vice President Talent Acquisition & Development Amy Venezia began the program last summer, and has since recruited two stellar professionals from her class to join our organization, Lauren Guderyon, General Manager at Total Plastics, Int'l Tampa, and Cody Murph, Sales Representative at Polymershapes Houston. This week, they are all at Texas A&M University to kick off the second year of their Master of Industrial Distribution program! We are thrilled to share that Laurens Backx, Account Manager from Vink BV (België-Belgique), and Delano Timessen, Online Marketeer from Vink Kunststoffen BV, are spending an incredible week in Seattle, Washington, as part of the Plastics Family Americas International Work Experience Program. Their visit focused on exploring the USCutter brand and gaining valuable insights into its e-commerce business model and diverse product offerings. General Manager Karl Bowman highlighted, "They have been busy learning about USCutter's strategy and unique product mix. They learned how to make custom logo shirts with USCutter's DTF printing equipment and decals and golf balls printed on our Roland UV flatbed printer." Today is a unique experience and a first for the US trip - a round of golf. Laurens and Delano will join a charity golf tournament for cancer families, an annual event that USCutter proudly supports. The custom-printed golf balls they created will come in handy on the green!
