🌍 Bring Peace to the Polls 🌍 This election season has been tough. Not everyone will want to engage in open-minded political conversations, and that's ok; disengage and create healthy boundaries if someone is being abusive or unsafe. If you find someone with a different perspective from yours who willing to have a conversation, practice peace by applying these 3 tips to promote connection over conflict. Let’s lead with compassion and make a positive ripple in our communities! #ChooseCompassion #PracticePeace #PlayForPeace

Developing compassionate leaders in areas of conflict who connect people and communities to build lasting peace.
About us
Play for Peace is a community of people who are, right now, creating a more peaceful world. In fact, one of the most exciting things about Play for Peace is that at any time of day or night Play for Peace is happening somewhere in the world. Children, youth and adults, even in communities in conflict, are deciding to choose compassion and practice peace, and they are learning to do this through the joy of play. Few things can provide a common link between people like laughter and play. Through cooperative play, we have a universal and non-threatening platform around which people can come together and learn. Play creates a gateway to moments when differences dissolve, fear melts away, and we see what connects us rather than what divides us.

📸: Captured by Colink We came together to celebrate more than just an exciting race—it was a celebration of Argao’s rich culture, history, and the incredible spirit of our youth! 🩵 From navigating through 5 challenging stations—Adaptability, Resourcefulness, God-Centeredness, Authenticity, and Optimism—our participants showed the true heart of what it means to be an Argawanon. 🌟 This event wasn’t just about speed but also about showcasing pride, resilience, and unity in our community. Thank you to everyone who participated and made it an event to remember! 💫 As we honor the feast of St. Michael de Archangel, we also celebrate International Peace Day—reminding us all to work together for a more peaceful, connected world. ☮️🎉 #MaglakawSaArgao2024 #CelebrateCulture #YouthEmpowerment #ProudArgawanon #VivaSanMiguel #InternationalPeaceDay #CommunityUnity

🌍🎉 What an incredible time we had celebrating the 26th Anniversary of Play for Peace! On Saturday, September 28th, our global community came together to reflect on 26 years of compassionate play and peace-building. From a heartfelt welcome by our visionary leader, Sarah Gough, to an inspiring Moment of Silence for children in conflict zones, every moment was filled with gratitude, connection, and joy. We celebrated the formation of the Council, completing our leadership triad alongside the Board and Roundtable. This shows the power of inclusive leadership in driving real, sustainable change. We also heard moving stories from their representative, including Farahnaz, Cristina, and Karen, who shared their passion for making peace possible through play. After the formalities, we continued the celebration with interactive fun during the after-party, where attendees connected and played in our virtual play spaces! A big THANK YOU to everyone who made this milestone event special! Today's love, laughter, and connection will help us build a strong community. 🙌✨

Beloved Play for Peace Trainers Swati and Agyat recently reported the following: “The most interesting news from our side is the online sessions we started with Jesuit Refugee services(JRS) in Afghanistan. We will be doing one session every fortnight till December (total 10 sessions of 4 hours each). The workshop is being attended by around 18 participants, 9 each in Kabul and Herat. There are both male and female participants and so they have asked us not to share any pictures as women are not suppose to come to the office and attend workshops. Father Stephen is our contact, who is the South Asia director of JRS. He was a young priest when he attended our Play for Peace workshops in 2009-10. We think the biggest reaffirmation of the Play for Peace process is that all of our work comes from people remembering the value and emotions they experienced. when they were doing Play for Peace sessions.” In Peace Swati Bhatt & Agyatmitra Agyatmitra
