About us
PlayCV is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization #87-1612445 whose mission is to bring fun and enriching after-school classes, programs, camps and activities to TK - 8th grade students in our community. We strive to bring enrichment programs that both further and introduce subject matters of interest. Our intention is to foster team and individual growth while developing social interactions. Our success lies in leveraging our community's strengths and talents to the greatest extent possible. We recruit local experts in their fields, count on the most caring community members, and support our local businesses. None of this is possible without the support of our community. PlayCV is Where Youth Shine. Our events showcase the achievements of our students to family and friends.

The Castro Valley School Board approved a revised 2024- 2025 Instructional Calendar at the June 12th Board Meeting. The revised calendar includes the following: The revised calendar includes the following changes that affect elementary schools only: PreK-5 parent conferences originally scheduled for the week of 9/16 have been moved to the week of 11/18. As a result: The PreK-5 minimum days originally scheduled on 9/17-9/19 have been moved to 11/19-11-21. The PreK-5 student advisement day (a non-school day for students) originally scheduled on 9/20 has been moved to 11/22.
