I’m excited to give you all a sneak peek into the new PMO Value Ring Framework, which will be officially launched with the release of the new PMI PMO Practice Guide during PMO unCON, PMI’s signature PMO global event happening on December 9-10 in Istanbul, Türkiye. This new framework represents the next evolution in PMO practices, rooted in the foundational insights of the original PMO Value Ring methodology. In this article, I’ve added specific notes in blue for those already familiar with the original PMOVR methodology and/or who hold a PMO-CP/PMO-CC credential. My last two weeks were truly exciting! I traveled over 40,000 miles (70,000 km) 🌎 and spent nearly 100 hours in the air 🛫, flying between various cities and connections. But it was all worth it! 👍🏻 Right after the fantastic PMI Global Summit in Los Angeles 🇺🇸, I traveled to New Delhi 🇮🇳 to attend the amazing PMI South Asia Conference, followed by a trip to Malang 🇮🇩 for the incredible SYMEX, brilliantly organized by the PMI Indonesia Chapter, and finally, I arrived in Istanbul 🇹🇷, where I had the privilege of speaking at the incredible PMI Turkey Chapter conference. Fostering PMOGA - PMO Global Alliance as the Project Management Institute community for PMOs and PMO professionals around the world is a mission I believe will help create a lasting legacy of crucial engagement in the world of PMOs, benefiting thousands of PMO professionals and organizations globally. ❤️ I’m very happy to play this role on behalf of PMI, and while my body is understandably tired and my heart deeply misses my family, my mind has never been more energized and excited about the opportunities ahead. My deepest gratitude to everyone I met during these intense days for the immense kindness with which I was welcomed everywhere I went.
