#ProjectUpdate | Poettker Construction is constructing a new wedding venue and tasting room for Old Monroe Distilling Co., a craft distillery in Columbia, IL. We're installing framing inside and siding on the outside and applying tongue and groove at ceilings and overhangs. Our team is outfitting the roof with fascia, drip edge, and valley material. We're preparing to oil and chip the parking lot and construct a concrete circle drive and patio. Poettker Construction served as the General Contractor of the Medical Office Building that now houses the Chester Clinic and will house the future Convenient Care center. “The Medical Office Building has been part of our long-range plan since 2018. Memorial Hospital has been saving for many years, and 100% of the project's $8.8 million cost will be covered through our capital savings funds. No kid sleeps on the floor in our town! Poettker Construction partnered with the local chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build 26 beds for children in need. With a mission of helping children sleep better by providing a safe, comfortable place for them to lay their heads, the local team has constructed and distributed over 1,200 beds in Clinton, Marion, and Jefferson counties over the past four years!
