Kathy has over 15 years of experience in acquisition program management, government consulting, program development and execution, and business operations. She brings valuable leadership to PolyCon’s executive team during a period of rapid growth. As COO, Kathy will lead operations and direct the company’s finance and administrative functions. Nadia Shash, PolyCon’s CEO and founder, stated “Kathy is a seasoned and trusted leader who consistently delivers results, we are thrilled to have a steady hand at the operational helm as we continue to expand.” Ms. Simpkins began her professional career as a contract negotiator in the marketing division of a major telecommunications firm. She then transitioned to the FAA where she held an unlimited warrant as a Senior Contracting Officer for 10 years before returning to private industry as a member of the leadership team at LS Technologies. Kathy holds a Masters in Supply Chain Management from Howard University.
