Last Friday, the majority of our team worldwide had a well-deserved day off to celebrate ‘Poppulo Day’ in recognition of a superb first half of the year 🙌 It was lovely to see how colleagues across the globe spent their day off from swimming, exploring, quality puppy time, getting creative, and even engagement celebrations. Giving back at Poppulo ✨ It's not for the faint-hearted, but certainly a very worthy cause as we reached new peaks through our most recent volunteering venture with the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative. CFI is a nonprofit that protects the natural integrity of Colorado’s fourteeners (peaks over 14,000 feet). It was a heavy lift as the team got stuck in moving rocks and general trail maintenance to make it more accessible and safe for the hundreds of hikers who regularly visit these peaks. It’s lovely to see colleagues getting together to take advantage of our company volunteer initiative for causes close to them. A big shout-out to our volunteers Rachel Hood, Austin Wiley, Dan Beaury, Jacob Devereaux, Jenna DiLullo, Kenneth Jönsson, and Luke Bonner. #Volunteering #EmployeeEngagement #Poppulo

Communicators driving change… how are you doing today? Simon Monger, SCMP reminded us of a great quote from Rosabeth Moss Kanter about change. Specifically, the ‘miserable middle,’ where you're no longer at the exciting start and still too far from the end of the change process, so everything feels like failure. Who can survive the day without a good cup of coffee? Well, certainly not us here at Poppulo ☕ So, that’s why we were thrilled to welcome Frank from Mahers Coffee to our Cork office recently to learn about all things coffee from the coffee connoisseur himself. I think it’s safe to say that the 36 colleagues who sat in on Frank’s session are now experts on the french press and brewer, and we’ve upped our Wednesday morning coffee game.
