Portico proudly announces The John Tavasci Memorial Scholarship, honoring John Tavasci Sr., an immigrant who prioritized education for his grandchildren despite not pursuing it himself. Five of his nine grandchildren graduated college, including Portico's President, Darren Williams. Please join us in congratulating our 2024 recipients! Izzabella Rodriguez: A business administration student at Grand Canyon University, with aspirations of running her own business. She actively volunteers at her local church. Alyssia Daughenbaugh: Studying human science at Hardin-Simmons University, she is on the path to becoming a physical therapist. She dedicates her time to volunteering with Parkinson's patients and is involved in various campus activities. These two outstanding recipients embody John's legacy of hard work and dedication to education and Portico is proud to support them on their road to success.

We are excited to welcome Stephanie Johnston, CAM, back to the Portico family as our new Regional Director for the Austin and San Antonio regions! With 17 years of multifamily experience, Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise across various asset types and markets. Her journey began in tax credit multifamily housing, where she developed a strong foundation in financial and regulatory matters. She then expanded her experience, managing stabilized, rehab, and lease-up assets across Texas, Iowa, and Georgia. Stephanie's commitment to excellence is reflected in her achievements, including earning her CAM license in 2018 and graduating from the San Antonio Apartment Association's Leadership Lyceum in 2023. Her active involvement in apartment association committees and the numerous awards she has received further underscore her dedication and impact in the industry.
