PDA students absolutely proved #poaksheg at the season opener this past weekend in Kentucky. Students assembled both virtually and in-person at University of Kentucky to debate the topic: The United States federal government should substantially expand its surveillance infrastructure along its southern border. Great job to all of our competitors! In addition to various elimination rounds and speaker awards earned, we also had two teams earn the top-seeds. Out of 343 online competitors, and out of 27 middle school teams competing, Potomac debaters had the #1 ranked performance after completing preliminary rounds.
