Last year we laid out a transformative plan to launch Potomac 2.0.
My role is to make tough decisions to look ahead at the next 5-10 years and set a course for success.
The plan was laid out in phases, and we are recognized it could take up to 18 months to complete.
➡️ Phase 1: Kickoff a Return to Office. No need to debate, I had my reasons.
➡️ Phase 2: Introduce the EOS framework to introduce more corporate structure, transparency, and accountability.
➡️ Phase 3: Remake the staff by focusing on insanely talented and driven people who share our core values. Then set a plan to reinvest in these people. *It’s been bumpy, but we are getting there.
➡️ Phase 4: Dramatically increase our sales team headcount and talent, to keep up with new distribution partners.
➡️ Phase 5: Get back to our content roots that helped us 10x our firm in 5 years. This includes a studio build out and staff increases.
➡️ Phase 6: Reinvigorate the Events department because face to face matters. This includes our annual conference doubling in size, Commander’s suite (#JD5), regional meetings, and the soon to be launched Potomac University.
No one ever said that building a business is easy. Everyone has an opinion.
But in the words of the great Dan Quinn...
“There’s nothing I enjoy more than doing hard shit with good people,”
