If you think self-care is just a trip to the spa or a vacation, read this: There are four types of self-care: 1. Physical Self-Care (Exercise, Healthy Meal, etc) 2. Mental Self-Care (Learning, Mindfulness, etc) 3. Emotional Self-Care (journaling, connection, etc) 4. Spiritual Self-Care (Prayer, Fellowship, etc) If you feel like ur running on empty, be wary of the activities that address only 1 and 2 . . . but rob you of 3 & 4. I’ve been reading the Comfort Zone. The author is Kristen Butler 🌻 As I’ve been reading it, I can’t help thinking about how most of my entire adult life I’ve been hearing how you know you’re on the right path when you are pushed a little bit outside of your comfort zone, but after reading this book,which I’m not done reading yet, I’m in awe of how, when we are in our comfort zone how it feels so amazing! Interesting that this feeling that we have of just being isn’t appreciated enough.
