Usually we make sure our technicians are the best of the best at what they do, but it appears we made an exception last night.
There was no way I was missing last nights drag bingo for National Coalition of STD Directors at the Washington Hilton, followed by a drag show and karaoke. Silly me, I thought the most exciting part would be on stage, but when I got there, the camera ops had been cut for the day since it was just the evening entertainment. That's when Rick Mathews and I agreed we had to get this on screen so he grabbed one camera and I grabbed the other. first time I've ever operated a camera for a live show. It was so cool, but wow it really is nerve racking when that little red light goes on. that means you're hot (aka you're camera is live). #eventprofs #STIEngage
