  • Earlier this week, P/SL and CBCI colleagues hosted an inpatient Light the Night Walk for patients who couldn't attend the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Wash Park event, held Sept. 26. The team has raised more than $77,000 for LLS, an organization that funds treatments for patients who are suffering from all forms of blood cancers.   • Yesterday our colleagues at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC) at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center - a part of HealthONE - led by pediatric surgeon Dr. Steven Rothenberg, completed its first surgery using an all-new pediatric robotic surgical system. The gallbladder procedure was performed with the new robotic system designed specifically for the needs of our youngest patients and RMHC is honored to be the FIRST dedicated pediatric hospital in the United States to use this pediatric robotic system.
