Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Florida as Hurricane Milton makes landfall. We pray for safety, protection, and strength for all those in the storm’s path. May the Lord guide and protect the brave first responders—firefighters, linemen, nurses, and doctors—who are running toward danger to keep others safe. Your courage shines as a beacon in this time of need. To the farmers and ranchers facing uncertainty, we stand with you, praying that you, your families, and your livestock stay safe through the storm. Stay strong, Florida—you’re in our hearts and prayers.

We were excited to welcome Tom Glause, CEO of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), and Paul Woody, CMO of PRCA, to the Priefert plant today! We’re proud of our strong partnership with the PRCA and enjoyed sharing great fellowship while giving them a tour of our little slice of heaven here in Mt. Pleasant. It’s always a pleasure to connect with those who share our passion for the Western way of life! #priefert #ranch #rodeo #equipment #prca

While we wait for the U.S. solar supply chain to develop for modules and cells, it can be challenging for projects to meet the domestic content threshold to receive the full tax credits available in the Inflation Reduction Act. Developers can qualify for a 10% tax credit adder for solar projects using U.S.-made components, on top of the 30% base investment tax credit. To receive the bonus, all manufacturing processes for steel and iron components must take place in the United States and 40% of the cost of manufactured products used in the solar array must come from domestic content. Tracking systems can account for up to 24.7% toward this threshold, so choosing a domestically-produced product gets you more than halfway on its own! We’re proud to announce that our tracker will meet the safe harbor requirements for domestic content by the second quarter of 2025. 🥁🎉 These bonus tax credits for domestic content have helped create more solar manufacturing jobs in small-town America. Priefert, a third-generation family company known as “America’s #1 Name in Ranch & Rodeo,” manufactures many of our tracker components at their factory in Mount Pleasant, Texas, two-and-a-half hours east of Dallas. They’re adding new jobs and manufacturing lines to scale up with our rapidly-growing demand. In addition to helping to satisfy the tax credit requirements, domestic supply chains can be both more robust and more efficient, reducing shipping times and the associated carbon emissions from imported products while eliminating risks of delay in U.S. Customs. Want to learn more about how we can help your projects qualify for these incentives? Check the comments below for a link to our new press release. And stop by our booth (Hall D #24057) next month at RE+ 2024 in Anaheim to see our tracker in person, and learn about how it can help you eliminate grading and install solar plants faster on any terrain, including undulating and challenging sites. #TheWorldIsNotFlat #NoMoreGrading #DomesticContent #MadeInAmerica #InflationReductionAct

You Can't Be Afraid to Fail On this episode of the Growing Our Future Podcast we are introduced to Eddie Priefert (President of Priefert). He shares his journey and the success of the Priefert brand. The company started with 300 acres, one product, and a two-car garage, and has now grown to a 3,500-acre ranch and a campus with 35 acres under roof. Priefert is involved in the ranch equipment and rodeo markets, as well as the steel industry, selling converted steel to other manufacturers. They also offer Priefert Complex Designs (PCD), which helps design and build animal agriculture facilities. Eddie emphasizes the importance of attitude, faith, and integrity in achieving success. #leadershipdevelopment #agriculture #education #stem #FFATODAY #mytexasffa #priefert Youtube Post: https://lnkd.in/ghvBzHmf Priefert Aaron Alejandro Courtney Dyer
