About us
The Printed Circuit Board Association of America is the sole association of U.S. domestic printed circuit board manufacturers and suppliers. PCBAA was established in 2021 by PCB manufacturers and other industry stakeholders amid rising geopolitical challenges. PCBAA seeks to promote an environment in which U.S.-based printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturers can thrive. Our consortium believes in market fairness and a level playing field on which U.S. PCB manufacturers can compete against competitors subsidized by foreign governments.

Don't be tricked, chips are only one component of the #microelectronics technology stack. To fully secure our supply chain, Congress needs to treat American-made printed circuit boards and substrates the same - and pass the #PCBSAct. #ChipsDontFloat

The New England PCBAA road trip continues. Executive Director David Schild made a stop in Canton, MA to visit Remtec, Inc. and learn more about how advanced ceramic circuits and substrates are brought to life. The microelectronics that power modern life are made in the USA, and New England is home to some of the most innovative companies. #ChipsDontFloat #PCBSAct

Growing the American #PCB and #substrate manufacturing base is critical to our economic and national security. We're proud to see one of our founding members Calumet Electronics Corporation breaking new ground with their recent announcement to partner with KLA Corporation to pioneer organic substrate technology right here in the U.S. #ChipsDontFloat #PCBSAct
Together, Calumet Electronics and KLA Corporation are pioneering organic substrate technology — the foundation of semiconductor packaging — in the US. This new collaboration will help strengthen domestic semiconductor manufacturing capabilities for industrial and commercial applications. After working together for two decades, we knew KLA was the right partner to develop this groundbreaking work and take our successful prototypes to the next level.
