Terence Stovall, our Government Relations Manager of State and Local Affairs, joined industry leaders at the Colorado State Capitol for their annual Legislative Day. The day began with an opening breakfast, bringing together the Pesticide Applicator Coalition and uniting voices from all aspects of our industry. Terence, Blair Matthews (American Turf and Tree), and Jason Schmidt (Weedman) met with Rep. Dusty Johnson to discuss key industry issues. Will LaPoint (SavATree) and Jason Schmidt also met with a state senator to advocate for landscape and lawn care professionals. Advocacy at the state and local levels is critical. A huge thank you to our members who took the time to engage with lawmakers and champion the needs of landscape and lawn care professionals.
