This weekend, the place to be is Russian River Pride in #Guerneville. Due to a groundswell of dedication and passion for #Pride in the community, a group of dedicated volunteers reintroduced this local, small-town parade to Guerneville last year, with a mission to help support the Lower Russian River Area. The big kick off is Friday night's #prom, which co-chair Dan Samson says was inspired by the fact that many LGBQT+ people were unable to go to prom or be at prom as the person that they are. “This is that opportunity to create that moment that you really wanted to have where you can be your full self with the person you want, the person you love, the person you like, to celebrate." Come for prom, stay for the parade and so much more. Check out this story in @thepressdemocrat for all the details. https://lnkd.in/gtPdNtVS

Lots of fun public space activations happening in Oakland as part of Summer on the Plaza. Great coverage from the East Bay Times on the latest carnival fusion dance class and our client, the Uptown Downtown Oakland Community Benefit District. https://lnkd.in/gG4yUTny

The process is broken when one single neighbor can stall dozens of much-needed new housing units by weaponizing environmental laws and abusing our legal system to serve their own interests. Our client’s project was approved by the Historic Preservation Commission and the Planning Commission, and appealed all the way to the Board of Supervisors — where it was approved 10-1 — but it’s still stalled. We were proud to work with J.K. Dineen at the San Francisco Chronicle to shine a light on the latest with March Capital’s quest to be part of our solution to the housing crisis. We hope you’ll take a moment to read and share this piece, and perhaps commiserate about our collective efforts to bring more housing to San Francisco and the greater Bay Area.

We are excited to stand with Kamala, who is a hometown hero for so many of us in Bay Area politics. Our co-founder Alex Clemens talked with Wilson Walker for KPIX/CBS Bay Area from our Union Square office to talk about the race — and how we’ll win the White House. https://lnkd.in/gTii874b

We were so proud to help the San Francisco SPCA with the first ever California Adopt-a-Pet Day. Families came out in record numbers on Saturday in support of this wonderful event. Thousands of pets now have new homes, and we helped raise critical awareness about the overcrowding challenges facing shelters in the state. #SPCA #ProgressPublicAffairs https://lnkd.in/gXQ8M3F8
