  • We are thrilled to welcome four incredible new interns to Project Lemonade! 🎉👏 A first job experience is more than just a paycheck—it’s a foundation for future success. Through this internship, our interns gain valuable professional skills, build confidence, and become part of a supportive community. As one of our volunteers shared: "Many of the interns walk away knowing they have a place to come back to if they need future support, providing them with a valuable sense of stability." 💛 We can’t wait to see the impact our interns will make and the growth they will achieve in the months ahead!

  • 🥳💛 Happy Birthday, Gail! 💛🥳 Today, we celebrate a true cornerstone of our team and the heart of Project Lemonade. For over a decade, Gail Cummings Andersen (she/her) has poured her passion and dedication into everything we do, starting as a volunteer and growing into one of our most cherished staff members. She leads with empathy, compassion, and determination, ensuring every foster youth who walks through our doors feels seen and supported. Her belief in their potential inspires us all! Help us celebrate Gail—drop a comment if you’ve had the joy of working with her! 🍋💛

  • For the past 10 years, Jeanie White has been the steady, welcoming face we’ve seen every time we picked up donated products from Columbia Sportswear. Over the years, we learned that Jeanie wasn’t just a supporter of our mission—she was living it. As a foster parent herself, she understood firsthand the impact of showing up for youth in need. Last week, we received a big donation from Columbia, a testament to the generosity and commitment of their team—including Jeanie. This incredible contribution will go a long way in supporting the youth we serve. This March, Jeanie will be retiring from Columbia, and while we will miss her kindness, generosity, and personal support, we are endlessly grateful for the role she played in helping us serve our community. Thank you, Jeanie, for everything! Wishing you the best in this new chapter. 💛💛 #ProjectLemonade #FosterCareSupport

  • At Project Lemonade, our L+EARN Internship is more than just a job experience—it’s about building confidence, connections, and lifelong memories. ❄️✨ This past weekend, we took some of our current and past interns on a snowshoeing adventure at Mt. St. Helens, proving that growth happens both in and out of the workplace! Despite the rain and snow, the smiles never faded. A huge shoutout to Columbia Sportswear Company for keeping us warm and dry and to Mount St. Helens Institute for guiding us on this incredible journey. Through L+EARN, interns gain hands-on experience, develop essential career skills, and become part of a lasting community that continues beyond the program. We love seeing our interns challenge themselves, support one another, and step into new opportunities—whether in retail, customer service, or the great outdoors! #InternshipExperience #ProjectLemonade
