Hosted by our Title Sponsor Fetch Pet Insurance, 2024's 101 Donations Matching Gift Campaign has been going strong for nearly a month! Fetch Pet Insurance has graciously agreed to match up to $50,500 dollars to help get us to our goal of raising $101,000. Thanks to all of donors last year, more than 1,500 pets received the veterinary care they needed and deserved. This year's campaign is open through December 31st and all proceeds will go towards realizing our vision: "To create a world where veterinary care is accessible to every pet family." 🐾 https://lnkd.in/g7Ymn23Q

City of San Diego Spooktacular Halloween Clinic 🎃 We helped 41 pets today! I love the team/volunteers we have at Project Street Vet because we are a no judgement, just help safe zone. Each of us are not afraid to jump in and lend a hand or share resources on how we can best help each pet parent we encounter. The Animal Pad is one of our amazing partners that joins us at our City of SD clinics to supply pet parents with food, harnesses, leashes, collars, clothing, pet beds etc. Today was a great clinic and I made the volunteers little treat-or-treat bags as a little thank you for their help and support of our mission 🫶 We cannot do this without our amazing community partners, supporters, donors, and volunteers. It takes a village and it's very heart-warming to see animal nonprofits come together to partner with us / share resources and try to help each other as best we can because we want the best for each pet we encounter. Let's spread kindness and compassion 🐾 #petsarefamily

Along with falling leaves, changing colors, and pumpkin spiced lattes, autumn brings seasonal hazards to our furry friends. The ASPCA created this guide to help pet owners ensure their pets' ability to enjoy fall! 🍁🎃🍂 #halloween #pets https://lnkd.in/dFx9bCp

Congrats to our Community Support Specialist Valerie Nassir, M.A. on her two year anniversary with Project Street Vet! We are grateful for our small, but might team who help make this work possible. You can learn more about Val and our team here: https://lnkd.in/gUicTrH9
2 years...It has flown by! I cannot believe it's been 2 years already since my first day at Project Street Vet. It has been an incredible journey that I am humbled to be a part of. Moreover, I am so grateful for our amazing team! Danae Davis, thank you for being such an amazing Supervisor/Executive Director 🙌 A round of a"paws" to our volunteers 👏 They are truly the most selfless human beings I have had the honor to work with. When I reflect back to day one...fast forward to today, I have not only learned so much but most importantly I have found an organization that has created this movement/environment of #Nojudgementjusthelp. In my time here I have seen some of the most beautiful human-animal bonds out there at our clinics. Even through our financial cases program where I speak to pet parents about how we can assist their pet, you can hear the love in their voice they have for their family. This job has hard days and cases that don't have happy endings but at the end of the day I try my best to help as many pets/pet parents as I can through my sympathy and resources. I think back to a few years ago when I prayed for a job like this (honestly for the past decade). A job where I can use my passion to help animals and make a difference in this questionable society. To hopefully inspire others to not judge and to show kindness/compassion 🫶 To be a voice for the voiceless 🗣 I've helped approximately 1,080 pets through our financial assistance program and met at least 1,000 Clinic/Street Vet Work pets. There is such a need for our mission and our services that I hope one day we are in every state 🤞I'm excited for where this journey will take me in the next year 🐾 Cheers to two years and to many more pets I shall help along the way ❤️

Spent the best day yesterday with Project Street Vet team from Atlanta to Los Angeles serving pets of homeless individuals in Atlanta. The vet team provided a wellness checkup, vaccines, preventative medicines and scheduled surgeries (paid for by our team) for our furry friends. Generous donations and support from Fetch Pet Insurance made for a great day for our furry friends too! And we treated our Project Street Vet visiting team to an Atlanta staple for lunch! #service #medicalcare #charity #givingback

We're incredibly thankful to Deputy Amber Sprague and San Diego County Sheriff's Office for all of their work in serving North County San Diego's unhoused population! She and her team have done a fantastic job identifying groups at encampments and transit stations that greatly benefit from the care PSV and local social services provide. Over the past 2 years, they've helped secure housing for pet parents and coordinate veterinary services to over 100 pets. "It's been a great way to reach the community, build relationships, and then get the dogs their vaccines, flea and tick medication, food, toys and treats," says Deputy Sprague. "We get out on foot, we go talk to people... probably know them on a first name basis, which is special, not every law enforcement agency has a relationship like that with the people out on the streets." https://lnkd.in/gqM696fV

Our recent street vet clinic in Orlando allowed us to connect with nearly 30 pets, including this super cute pup whose cleft palate was thankfully healing on its own. Huge shout out to team Orlando for hosting this recent event! #pets #pups #Orlando #nojudgementjusthelp https://lnkd.in/gB74qwVb

One had a cleft palate that fortunately was healing on its own. Dog and cat cleft palates are conditions that result from the failure of the roof of the mouth (hard and soft palates) closing during normal embryological development - leaving a “cle

Los Angeles resident, volunteer, rescuer and spay/neuter advocate Tammy is on a mission to reduce the number of pet litters in her community. Since late 2023, she has been working directly with Project Street Vet and other community partners to bring needed veterinary services to unhoused pet families near her home, all on her personal time. In her experience, the pet families she assists are willing to get their animals spayed and neutered, but access to quick, affordable appointments isn’t always achievable. Tammy had been working to get nine dogs at one community camp fixed, but was having a hard time finding somewhere to treat them all, quickly - before some of the pups got big enough to make new litters of their own. See how PSV teamed with her and others in her community to help get 9 dogs spayed and neutered in the YouTube link below! https://lnkd.in/g-gdmWar
