Proof Alliance's Kendra Gludt, MPH, Director of National Programs, and Ashlie McGuire, Training Program Manager, recently traveled to Boston to kick off the next phase of the SAFEST Choice grant with our partners at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Over a productive two-day retreat, the teams dove into planning the expansion of this important initiative into a national model. As part of our five-year, $4.75 million award from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSAgov), HHS, Proof Alliance and Boston Medical Center are collaborating to bring the SAFEST Choice National Learning Collaborative to communities across the country. This program is designed to reduce prenatal alcohol exposure and improve outcomes for children with suspected or diagnosed fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). We’re excited to continue driving positive change and expanding our reach! #FASD #SAFESTChoice #HealthyPregnancies #PartnershipForChange
