About us
Provide is a nonprofit that works in partnership with health and social service providers and agencies to better respond to patients and clients experiencing unintended pregnancy. We offer professional development training (including free CEUs) and technical assistance on how to give accurate, informed, and non-judgmental referrals for unintended pregnancy and abortion care. Health and social service providers - nurses, counselors, advocates, case managers, social workers, physicians - are critical links to helping people obtain quality, compassionate care for a range of health needs, including reproductive health. Engaging trusted care providers and empowering them with information and skills about abortion is a critical opportunity to improve coordination of care for people seeking abortion. Having trained over 11,500 health and social service providers across 44 states, Provide brings more than three decades of experience working within healthcare and social service systems, introducing difficult topics in the workplace, and equipping providers and administrators with the tools and resources they need to offer stigma-free and patient-centered care.
