We are heartbroken to lose the indomitable force that is our former president, Cecile Richards. In her 12 devoted years of service to our organization, she brought us to new heights in our health care, education, and advocacy work. She was the embodiment of “Care, no matter what". As the reproductive freedom movement navigates unchartered territory, we know Cecile would tell us the best way to honor her memory is to suit up (in pink!), link arms, and fight like hell for the health and rights of all people. https://lnkd.in/g5vprKr4

In 2024, over 90% of workers described work-family employee family benefits as “important” or “extremely important” in a survey by Ovia Health. At the same time, over 40% of employees gave their companies’ existing family benefits a grade of “C” or lower. This morning at #CGI2024, Reproductive & Maternal Health Compass (RMH Compass) launched the #RMH@Work Corporate Index. This first-of-its-kind benchmark, to which Planned Parenthood served as an advisor, identifies the progress, pitfalls and potential of the top 100 American companies’ reproductive and maternal health benefits and it brings together a strong business case for why employers should provide these benefits, to which a majority of workers want access. Check out the report below, which among many insights, finds paid parental leave and family formation benefits are offered by more than half of the top 100, but also finds these companies must be more transparent about their benefits across-the-board. https://lnkd.in/edBsf3-j #socialimpact #csr #reproductiverights
