The Center for Firefighter Injury Research and Safety Trends (FIRST) at the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health offers the Fire Service Organizational Culture of Safety (FOCUS) survey. FOCUS is a free, FEMA-funded tool built specifically for the fire and rescue service to predict injuries, burnout, job satisfaction, work engagement, and behavioral health outcomes. With #FirePreventionWeek wrapping up, our very own Trevor Lightfield has been busy this week teaching kids the importance of smoke detectors, not to play with matches or lighters, having an escape plan in the event of a fire, and more! 🚒 Every year this dedicated week is a great opportunity to practice and teach fire safety to the kids in our communities. Trevor is our newest Director of Business Development located in South Dakota and is also the Captain of his Rescue Squad.
