Murata makes plans to Achieve RE100 15 Years ahead of Schedule, and Sets New Carbon Neutrality Targets 💚🤝 Murata has decided to move its target date for achieving 100% renewable energy sourcing forward by 15 years (to 2035). Also moving up targets for achieving carbon neutrality by 2040 for greenhouse gas emissions and making plans to achieve carbon neutrality across our entire supply chain for scope 1,2 and 3 by 2050. We had a blast at #EuMW2024 this week! Here are three more suppliers we want to spotlight who had impressive products on display at RFMW booth 502J. Paul Johnson and Nick John are excited about the Endura Low Phase Noise Super-TCXOs from SiTime. These Super-TCXOs combine low phase noise, tight frequency stability over temperature, and low g-sensitivity in a single 5032 footprint-compatible device. With phase noise virtually insensitive to vibration compared to up to 20 dBC/Hz jump for quartz, there is no need to derate phase noise to compensate for vibration. How much better than quartz are these? Best acceleration sensitivity is 0.01 ppb/g, a whole 50x better than quartz! The PE42545 is a HaRP™ technology-enhanced reflective SP4T #RF switch die that supports a wide frequency range from 9 kHz to 67 GHz. It delivers low insertion loss, fast switching time and high isolation performance, making this device ideal for test and measurement (T&M), #5G #mmWave, microwave backhaul, radar and satellite communication applications. Helena Andersson, Loic Nollot, and Tim Daniels showcase three exceptional products from NXP Semiconductors, including NXP’s latest Airfast 6 discrete #mMIMO solution A6G35H075N, NXP’s newest #GaN Multi-Chip Module A5M37TG240, and the RAPIDRF-36TC. NXP’s latest RAPIDRF-36TC reference design contains their dual-channel 48 V GaN PAs, pre-driver and Rx modules. The RAPIDRF-36TC has NXP’s innovative top-side cooled package (A5M36TG040-TC) with GaN efficiency improvements up to +10 pts. The reference design ranges 3400-3800 MH at 400 MHz IBW and also contains autobias with GaN sequencing, dual-channel Rx module, and a “Universal” 10 mm circulator.
