🌟 Celebrating 9 Years of Excellence with Mackenzie! 🌟 Mackenzie joined PT Solutions nine years ago, and her passion for patient care and leadership has only grown stronger! Mackenzie began her PT Solutions career as a staff physical therapist in Georgia, quickly advancing to Clinic Manager and then a multisite operational role. Her expertise in training clinicians and developing leaders helped create content still in use today, and her mentorship has contributed to many of her former team members becoming high-level leaders within the organization. In late 2022, she took on the role of RVP for the Midwest, serving the Tulsa and Kansas City markets. Known for her advocacy for her team and her community, Mackenzie combines a clinical background with an eye for detail to ensure every patient receives the best care possible. Mrs. Martha Williams came to PT Solutions at our Montgomery South clinic in May after undergoing rotator cuff repair surgery. With Louie's care and dedication, she achieved remarkable progress. "Martha was a tireless worker, committed to getting back to her community and service. She put in the hard work at every session, regaining full range of motion within a month and full strength soon after," Louie shared. Moved by her experience, Martha wrote a thoughtful poem about her time with Louie. UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, in partnership with PT Solutions, has developed an innovative occupational therapy program that helps post-surgical breast cancer patients reduce pain, increase their range of motion, and enhance their quality of life. Join us in celebrating the strength of survivors like Kirsta, who overcame mobility challenges with the support of Cathy Kupczyk, an occupational therapist and certified lymphedema and cancer therapy specialist at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth. Cathy emphasizes, “Occupational therapy is often overlooked when it comes to breast cancer, but it can significantly improve daily life even years after diagnosis and treatment. Meet Steven Penn, who faced unimaginable challenges after a stroke in September 2023. After spending 50 days in the ICU and navigating multiple complications, he participated in various therapies before finding his way to PT Solutions of Hardeeville. Since April, he has made incredible strides in his mobility and independence, moving from needing significant assistance to walking short distances. As we continue celebrating #PTMonth, Steven's story highlights the remarkable work of our dedicated therapists and the strength of our patients. Recently, he approached his therapy team with a heartfelt idea: to propose to his love, Patti, after over 20 years together. On Monday morning, our leadership team hit the road at 4:30 a.m. to deliver essential supplies to the Asheville and Hendersonville region in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Cara Perciaccanto, PTA, Director of Inpatient Rehab Services in Sylva, NC, shared her heartfelt gratitude: “It’s not a cheesy line when I say I bleed blue and gold.
