High Recovery & Efficiency Membrane Separations for Water Reuse, Desalination, and Liquid Filtration
About us
Pure Blue Tech is a Membrane Technology Company. We developed the world’s first self-cleaning membrane modules to affordably filter and reuse water from natural, industrial, and municipal sources. Our patented ultrasonic and nanopatterned membrane technologies minimize membrane fouling (clogging)—the chief problem and unsolved cost with membrane separations. This cuts costs, chemical cleanings, energy consumption, and waste. Water reuse will become viable for CSR and municipal water recycling programs. Contact us at info@purebluetech.com

We're grateful for our successful multi-year collaboration with EPA's SBIR program to develop and commercialize our ultrasonic reverse osmosis membranes for efficient water reuse. This innovation brings thin, flexible, power-efficient ultrasound transducers to the world of water treatment and membrane filtration for the very first time in an economical and practical way. Ultrasound effectively prevents membrane fouling, the number one problem with reverse osmosis membranes in water reuse, desalination, food and beverage, and manufacturing applications.
As we wrap up National #EntrepreneurshipMonth, check out our new success story to learn how five U.S. small businesses are using #EPAsbir funding to develop innovative technologies to treat and reuse water. Featured companies include: Triangle Environmental Health Initiative (Durham, NC) is developing onsite reuse systems for multiple wastewater streams. LeapFrog Design (Bend, OR) is creating a modular ecological water treatment system for onsite capture and non-potable reuse from single-family residences. Infinite Cooling (Cambridge, MA) is developing a technology to recover water from cooling tower plumes using electric fields. Cambrian Innovation (Watertown, MA) is creating bioelectrically enhanced wastewater treatment solutions that focus on resource recovery. Pure Blue Tech (Seattle, WA) is developing innovative anti-fouling membranes to promote efficient water reuse. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/g5EWMkXF
