As an investor or founder, I often get asked “how do you know if a company will be successful?” While I can’t predict the future, at Purpose Built, we focus on customer demand. Right away, we look at whether there’s a problem big enough and painful enough where people are willing to pay to alleviate their issue. We talk to potential customers as much as possible  to validate or invalidate an idea. But getting in front of customers is hard. That’s why we built a highly effective outbound machine to reach varied segments. We reach thousands of customers each year on behalf of our founders.
