  • We are hiring a Respiratory Therapist The Respiratory Therapist will administer respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities and will train and act as a resource for respiratory department technicians Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Administers all respiratory care as ordered by a provider • Completes continuing education and in-services to remain current with respiratory care practices • Records patient treatment, response, and progress • Inspects, tests, maintains, and operates respiratory therapy equipment • Responds to "code blue" calls and assists by maintaining the patient's airway and performing CPR • Give thorough and accurate report to oncoming staff at end of shift • Provides indicated respiratory care education to patients and family • Invasive and noninvasive ventilation, ABG collection and interpretation, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, pulmonary hygiene • Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Education Experience: 2-Year College Degree Years of Related Experience: 1-2 Years License/Certificate Required: Yes Driver's License Required: Yes Travel Requirements: None Age Requirement: 18+ Job Requirements: • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Indiana • Graduate of CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved school of Respiratory Care • BLS and ACLS within 60 days of hire • Exceptional customer service skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn hospital's electronic medical record (CPSI) • Ability to work with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality • Abides by HIPAA guidelines • Preferred Skills: • PALS and NRP certifications preferred • Familiarity with invasive and non-invasive ventilation techniques

Jill joined Putnam Prompt Care in 2024 and provides care for acute and subacute injuries and illnesses to adults and children over 12 weeks of age.   • PCH/GCSC School Nurse (RN, LPN, or MA) Job Summary This position would be located at Ridpath Elementary in Greencastle, IN. This position is about 29.5 hours per school week, FT benefits eligible. The PCH School Nurse provides health services in schools. Their goal is to treat student injuries or illnesses and advise students, their parents or guardians, and staff on health issues. She attended the University of Indianapolis for her BSN and then went on to the University of Cincinnati for her MSN. Dana joined the team at Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine two year ago. Dana sees both pediatric and adult patients for well and acute visits. Dana also specializes in women's health, weight management, and is verse in procedure such as lesion destruction, biopsy, and skin excision.
