Today we're highlighting Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt franchisees, Allison Phillips and Mandy Mack 🧡 🍦 Today, women own or co-own 31% of franchises, but that number is growing. In the newest edition of QSR, we explored two diverse paths to ownership within the same brand. Mack started in linguistics, and Phillips went to school for marketing, but their passion for people drew them to become successful business owners. #WiRLPower Read more about their journey and advice for others here: https://lnkd.in/ek6EZxrc

I have a confession to make: I have a huge crush on the cybersecurity industry -and we need more women entering the field and leading it, STAT. ❗ We need women's POVs to shape one of the fastest growing industries in the world - and the innovative solutions to fight cybercrime. There are significant instances of innovations that could have greatly benefited from a diverse group of perspectives. Think: bathroom lines, transparent staircases, and crash test dummies, to name a few. If just one woman had been in those rooms, a more equitable alternative could have been a reality. One example? Women are less likely to get into a car crash than men, but they are 73% more likely to sustain serious injuries in a collision than men. Why? Because automotive companies are still only required to test vehicle safety using crash dummies modeled after the average man. Having different ways of thinking is critical in any industry, including cybersecurity, but women still make up just 25% of the industry. In our new The Female Quotient and Deloitte research study, we found that only 23% of working women have ever considered a career in cybersecurity. Nearly half assume that they’d need a strong interest in tech, math, or computer science, when in reality, the industry thrives from those who are first and foremost, really great problem solvers. We are very proud of our work with Deloitte to advance women in cybersecurity. Learn more from our research report here: https://lnkd.in/gvu9JA5s
THIS is the role you want. Little Caesars global growth has been nothing short of explosive over the past few years. Oh, and Little Caesars happens to be the most fun brand in the most fun category. Just sayin'. We need an exceptional leader to help us drive even greater momentum. There's no better place to make a massive impact. Are you ready?
