Project Update: I-39/US 20 Interchange Reconstruction The District’s $99million reconstruction of the I-39/US 20 interchange in Rockford is heading into the final stages consisting of PCC paving and structure demo. The 18 month project is the first of three projects to improve the capacity, mobility, and safety of the I-39 corridor in Rockford. Congratulations to the District Construction Staff, Phase 3 Consultants, and Contractors for delivering this challenging project on time and on budget.
